Vin Perdu Napa Valley 2014
We are proud and excited to offer our most loyal customers an allocation of 2014 Vin Perdu. Once again, Heidi has masterfully blended small lots from some of our finest vineyard blocks on the eastern side of Napa Valley, delivering an incredible array of aromas and flavors. Vin Perdu 2014 is composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot from the Amuse Bouche, Au Sommet, La Sirena, Lamborn and Fantesca estates. Each Jeroboam features the patented flip lenticular label, and the new, Bacchanalian, art for this vintage.
We do the "little things" right by producing just a small (125 bottles) amount of the 2014 Vin Perdu. We all have great fun with this wine: the Über-qualified Heidi Barrett showcases her masterful blending skills using incredible components from some of Napa Valley's top vineyards; our creative team brings the label art to life; and you, our most loyal customers, revel in the visual and gustatory finished product.
We've maintained the remarkable price of $950 per bottle, qualifying Vin Perdu 2014 as Heidi Barrett’s best bargain wine! We will allocate the 125 jeroboams on a first-in basis. They tend to sell out within days of the offering, so don’t delay, or yours could be lost forever! We produced some 750mls as well, and these are available by six-pack allocation.
Our "lost wine" is the best value wine Heidi produces, and it will disappear quickly. We know the 2014 Vin Perdu will be a spinning addition to your collection, so be sure to secure your allocation before all bets are off!
We will ship the 2014 Vin Perdu in Fall, weather permitting.

"Lovely floral, blueberry and black fruit aromatics jumps from the glass of this dark purple-colored wine. Firmly structured with plenty of tannin, it possesses a nice underbelly of flesh that comes across as pure, full-bodied, and complex after additional bottle age. There appears to be a lot going on with this cuvee and should last 15+ years."
"The 2010 Vin Perdu is gorgeous. Plums, black currants, grilled herbs, tar and licorice are some of the many notes that burst from the glass in this full-bodied, intense wine. A dark, rich, voluptuous red, the 2010 Vin Perdu shows Heidi Barrett at her best. Hints of menthol, tar, licorice and pencil shavings are layered into the powerful, inviting finish. The 2010 is loaded with serious depth and power. In 2010 the blend is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Syrah, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Petit Sirah, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. "
